If you don't want to record your voice on a VoIP phone message, use these services to convert Text to Voice.
- Type what you want to recording to say in a text editor such as Notepad or Word
- Go to https://www.narakeet.com and paste your text in the appropriate field. You can even select one of a bunch of different voices, so be sure to try several before deciding on one.
- Download your M4A file
- Go to https://cloudconvert.com/m4a-to-wav and upload your M4A file. It will convert it to WAV. But the phone system can't play it yet.
- Download your WAV file.
- Rename to what you like, but add ORIG to the end of the name (not the file extension)
- Go to https://g711.org and upload your WAV file using the default settings.
- Download your newly converted WAV file and rename it to what you like.
- Now you can upload the WAV file to your VoIP system.
